Our four standard specifications (SB-1 through SB-4) each offer a different level of acoustic performance, suited to everything from podcasting, gaming and home office work through to music production, mastering, DJing, drumming and professional recording. For anything outside the standard range — larger footprints/heights, multi-room layouts, or bespoke acoustic requirements — our SB-X bespoke service lets us tailor a studio to your exact requirements.

Cladding Options

Thermowood
Thermowood is a heat treated product. It’s resistance to moisture, insects, and decay makes it the perfect choice for outdoor projects. It is the same material as the Lunawood, but in a more traditional cladding profile.

Lunawood
Lunawood is a beautiful wood material that is thermally modified using only heat and steam. This makes the timber dimensionally stable and weatherproof without chemicals. It starts out as an warm, orange/brown colour and greys out over time to give a lovely natural finish.

James Hardie Cladding
Fibre Cement Cladding is maintenance-free and UV-resistant. It is therefore incredibly durable and requires little maintenance. We recommend this cladding is used on any faces of the studio that cannot be easily accessed.
Plug In And Play
All of our studios come fully wired up with lighting, and electrics to meet your specification. All work is completed to Building Regulations standard, with a certificate issued after completion.
All of your lighting, switches and sockets are surface mounted to prevent air leakage and provide enhanced soundproofing.
Depending on the requirements of your project, we can also provide data, WIFI and TV connections as optional extras.
Tested Performance
We have tested the performance of our studios both in real life and using acoustic simulation software. This ensures that we can provide you with a Sonic Box that meets the requirements of your project.
