Production Studios

Our Sonic Box Production Studios are garden rooms tailored towards music producers, mix engineers, composers, TV/film sound engineers, content creators and podcasters.

Each studio has been designed to allow for optimum speaker position and room dimensions, providing the user with a more accurate listening experience for audio production and mixing across all frequencies.

Working with acousticians, all of our studios have been designed to allow for full acoustic treatment, including bass traps, wall/ceiling panels and diffusers. This can be supplied and installed as required for a full turnkey solution.

The studios can be built using any of our soundproofing specifications.

Cladding Options

    Thermowood

    Thermowood is a heat treated product. It’s resistance to moisture, insects, and decay makes it the perfect choice for outdoor projects. It is the same material as the Lunawood, but in a more traditional cladding profile.

    Lunawood

    Lunawood is a beautiful wood material that is thermally modified using only heat and steam. This makes the timber dimensionally stable and weatherproof without chemicals. It starts out as an warm, orange/brown colour and greys out over time to give a lovely natural finish.

    James Hardie Cladding

    Fibre Cement Cladding is maintenance-free and UV-resistant. It is therefore incredibly durable and requires little maintenance. We recommend this cladding is used on any faces of the studio that cannot be easily accessed.

Tested Performance

We have tested the performance of our studios both in real life and using acoustic simulation software. This ensures that we can provide you with a Sonic Box that meets the requirements of your project.
