The Brief
A drummer based in Brighton needed a dedicated space to play without disturbing his neighbours or household. Drums are one of the most demanding use cases for acoustic isolation — requiring the highest level of sound reduction to be truly neighbour-friendly — so the spec needed to match.
The Build
We specified and installed our Pro specification Sonic Box Studio — now equivalent to our SB-4 platform. With walls rated to 74dB Rw, a concrete base, double door and window systems, the SB-4 is our go-to recommendation for drummers who want to play freely at any volume, any time.
The Result
Vince now has a purpose-built drum studio at the end of his garden that looks as good as it performs. The build was completed by our team of expert craftsmen, with a wealth of experience working on specifically recording studios and production spaces.
