Production Studio Build for Audio Engineer, South West London
The Brief
Our client, an audio engineer based in South West London, needed a permanent, professional workspace at home — somewhere he could compose and mix music for film and TV without noise becoming an issue for his neighbours or family. Working in the industry, his standards were high and the acoustic performance needed to reflect that.
The Build
We specified and installed our Pro specification Sonic Box Studio — now equivalent to our SB-4 platform. With walls rated to 74dB Rw, a concrete base, double door and window systems, the SB-4 delivers the level of sound isolation demanded by professional composing and mixing work at any hour of the day. Featuring a GIK acoustics fit out and custom bass traps.
The Result
Lewis now has a dedicated, professional studio at the end of his garden — a space that lets him work freely without compromise. From the initial consultation through to the completed build, the entire process was handled smoothly from start to finish.
